Street Committees - How to make a difference in your Street

Street committees can make a significant impact on the security of streets in our precinct. The CPF has estimated that there are almost 200 street coordinators in the greater Linden Precinct. Many of these can do a lot more than keep a contact list of resident names and phone numbers.

We have developed a STREET COMMITTEE GUIDELINES LIST.

Linden Precinct - Priority Community Projects

Through a consultative process over the last three months, the top seven priority community projects have been identified for the Greater Linden Precinct. 18 possible projects were proposed by communities in the Linden Precinct and then prioritised based on responses to a questionnaire. The questionnaire was distributed to all resident and community associations in the Precinct.

The summary conclusions from the survey are contained in the attached mini presentation. A more detailed version of the presentation will shortly be available on the website or from your local community association.

These projects have a community focus and do not detract the focus of SAPS from priority crimes.
