The Linden police, the Linden CPF and ADT security have started an initiative to educate communities about sector policing. This initiative kicked off in sector 2, which is comprised of Franklin Roosevelt Park, Montrose and Risidale. These areas were not well informed about sector policing, did not have Residence Associations in place and were not part of any database regarding security issues. The sector 2 initiative took to the streets to hand out a batch of 5000 flyers, containing information regarding sector policing. The flyers have been sponsored by ADT. This is the first in a series of events promoting this initiative to various communities.
